Lose Weight

Weight loss is usually only possible when you make a commitment to taking action on a consistent basis towards a better body.

This could come in the form increasing your average number of healthy dietary choices made in a week while slowly eliminating older dietary choices which don’t ultimately serve you.

All it takes is making the decision to go through with today’s plan.  You plan on eating healthy by buying fresh fruits and vegetables.  You devote a small amount of time to learning what you should eat.  This site has a lot of great help with this subject.  You learn how to grocery shop to your best health result.  You learn how to bake things, how to broil things, to enjoy olive oil, and all kinds of other cool things that become easy, efficient, tasty, and effective.

You make the commitment to work out X number of times a week, and you do not deviate.  The average week has 168 hours.  If you commit to work out only 3 times a week, and each workout is only 1 hour each, you still have 165 hours remaining in your week to do whatever it is you want with your time.  Even if you include transit and prep time to and from the gym or park, you are spending a max of 5 hours out of 165 hours of your week doing something good for you and now you have a much higher probability of losing weight and creating a healthier life balance.

As time goes on, you’ll learn what your body best responds to, how much rest it needs, and the workouts become easier, you become better at them, and it becomes fun.  After only a short period of time, working out becomes an easy decision in your weekly schedule and you look forward to the stress relief and excitement of each workout.

Bottom line.  You can do it.  You just need to get started, hang in there, and follow through.
