Taking control over your own health is one of the absolute greatest decisions you can make for yourself in life. The basics of improving our own health can start with something as simple as getting 4 to 5 small meals a day. They should be healthy and include fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. Avoid eating a lot of fried foods, and avoid eating deep fried foods on a regular basis.
Get enough sleep. You should be getting at least 6 to 8 hours of sleep a night to maintain normal body and brain function. You will be more refreshed, focused, and have more sustained energy throughout the day.
Get active. Working out 3 or 4 times a week hard core is great, but if all you can do is 30 minutes of moderate physical activity that elevates your heart rate per day, then that’s going to help you a lot as well. Our bodies respond very positively to exercise.
If you want to lose some weight, your body will likely thank you with greater energy and you will feel better. Don’t ever think that you can’t because you can. I was once 30 pounds overweight, and I fought back from a physical disability to lose that weight and get back on track.
