warnings for fish that contain mercury

We’re so fortunate to live in the information age.  In these time of rapid mass communication, news is coming to light that can help us lead happier, healthier, and more fulfilled lives.  We’re allowed to critically examine common myths that have somehow made their way into what the mass public considers good and safe practices.

One of those myths is that we should eat fish, lots of fish, and any kind of fish if we want lean, muscular bodies.  Unfortunately, it’s a little more complex than just eating fish.

The types of fish you consume regularly is extremely important.  Many types of fish contain large amounts of mercury and you should avoid eating them too often.  Mercury accumulates in the body and the brain and can lead to serious health problems later in life.  No one wants Alzheimers when they’re 68 because they thought they should eat a lot of fish to be fit.

The culprits?  Can you believe that farm raised fish are dangerous to your health, and that even they are being fed genetically modified corn and soy pellets?  Like I said in previous posts, the GMO corn is everywhere, even in the food supply.

Learn the fish to avoid and the fish you can eat safely to get lean muscle without having to worry about mercury or xenoestrogen
